The image is a wide, landscape-oriented graphic featuring a stylized, monochromatic silhouette of a rural countryside in shades of warm orange and gold. The scene includes various trees, rolling hills, and delicate details like a ladder leaning against a large tree, a tire swing, hot air balloons in the sky, and tiny silhouettes of birds and clouds. The overall design is clean and illustrative, often used as a background for websites or marketing banners.

Frequently asked questions

Do rabbits eat carrots?

While rabbits do eat carrots and enjoy them, it is best to avoid giving too much. This is because carrots contain higher sugar levels than other vegetables and this can be detrimental to dental health. Sugary foods can also upset a rabbit’s digestive system, causing loose motions that become stuck around the back end. If this happens then the rabbit may also become prone to fly strike, which can be a serious condition requiring urgent veterinary care. One benefit of carrots is that they offer opportunities to chew and this is an essential activity for rabbits because of their constantly growing teeth. Hay is a better substrate for chewing as it provides long fibre and promotes digestive health. Fruit tree branches are also ideal for chewing and preferable to giving carrots.

What is the best food for a hamster?

Hamsters are omnivores and need a mix of food to keep them healthy. Kibbles or nuggets made especially to meet their nutritional needs are a great starting point. They can also be given small amounts of fresh green leafy vegetables, berries, stoned fruits and even cooked eggs and cottage cheese. Fresh water should always be provided.

Why do chinchillas need sand baths?

Chinchillas love a sand bath, and it is important for them to be able to express this natural behaviour. It’s also essential for keeping their skin and fur healthy. Chins have super soft coats; thanks to the fact they have 80 hairs per follicle. Always use a fine, specialist chinchilla bathing sand and replace this weekly. Normal sand or sawdust are not safe alternatives, as they can cause damage to your pet’s eyes.
