  1. Grant Overview

The Supreme Science Selective Vet Grant 2026 (the “Grant”) is sponsored by Supreme Petfoods (the “Sponsor”). One (1) UK veterinary practice will receive a grant of £2,000 to support a project that improves rabbit welfare through facilities, equipment, education, community initiatives or clinical provision.

  1. Eligibility

The Grant is open to veterinary practices that are legally located and operating within the United Kingdom and provide rabbit care. Applicants must be aged 18 or over and authorised to submit an application on behalf of the practice. Only one application per practice will be accepted. Employees, directors and agents of the Sponsor, together with their immediate family members or any practice owned by or connected with such individuals, are not eligible to enter.

  1. Application

Applications must be submitted via the official application process and include: practice details; a description of the proposed rabbit welfare improvement; details of how the £2,000 grant will be used; the expected benefits to rabbit welfare; and any supporting documents. Applications must be received by 11:59pm BST on 18 September 2026. Late, incomplete or illegible applications will not be considered.

  1. Selection

Applications will be assessed on their potential welfare benefit, feasibility, impact on rabbit care and innovation. Entries will be judged by a panel appointed by the Sponsor comprising Dr Molly Varga Smith (The Exotic Animal Vets), James Westgate (Editor, Vet Times) and Claire Hamblion-Jennings (Marketing Director, Supreme Petfoods). The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  1. Grant Conditions

The £2,000 grant is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available. The grant must be used solely for the rabbit welfare project described in the application and within three (3) months of the winner being announced on 5 October 2026. It must not be used for personal expenses, staff bonuses or unrelated debts. Any significant change to the proposed use of the grant must be agreed in writing by the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the grant with an equivalent award if circumstances make this necessary.

  1. Winner Notification

The winning practice will be contacted using the details provided in the application within seven (7) days of the judging process. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within fourteen (14) days, the Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

  1. Evidence of Use

The winning practice agrees to provide reasonable evidence that the grant has been used for the approved project. This may include photographs, invoices or a summary of the completed improvements. Such evidence may be requested within three (3) months of the grant award.

  1. Publicity

The winning practice agrees to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the Grant. The Sponsor may publish the practice name, project summary, photographs and details of the funded project on its website, social media channels, promotional materials and in the trade or general press. Any confidential information will only be published with the practice’s prior approval.

  1. Professional Independence

Receipt of the Grant does not constitute endorsement of any Supreme Petfoods products or services. All veterinary decisions remain entirely independent and at the discretion of the veterinary practice.

  1. Tax and Liability

The winning practice is responsible for any tax liabilities arising from receipt of the Grant, where applicable. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to this, the Sponsor accepts no liability for any indirect or consequential loss or for failure to implement the proposed project.

  1. Data Protection

Personal data supplied in connection with the Grant will be processed solely for the purposes of administering the Grant in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and the Supreme Petfoods Privacy Policy.

  1. Intellectual Property

Applicants confirm that any supporting materials submitted, including photographs or project descriptions, may be used by the Sponsor for the purposes of judging and administering the Grant and that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit such materials.

  1. Changes and Governing Law

The Sponsor reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Grant where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its control. Entry into the Grant constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
