With over 30 years of dedication, Supreme Petfoods began its journey with a vision to revolutionise pet nutrition. Our humble origins date back to the late 19th century and a family-run milling business in rural Suffolk. Supreme has since developed into a leader in specialised small pet care. In 1990, we recognised an unmet need for nutritionally tailored pet food and seized the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of small animals like rabbits and guinea pigs. Supreme Petfoods was founded to deliver the high-quality, species-specific diets that small pets deserve.

Pioneers in Pet Nutrition
In the late 1980s, it became clear that small animals weren’t being offered the best food choices to meet their unique nutritional needs. Recognising this gap, a member of the original Suffolk milling family partnered with a local farmer, who was already supplying hay and straw to pet stores, to form Supreme Petfoods. Together, they launched the first branded pet food specifically designed for small pets. Since then, we have continued to lead the way in small animal care by combining expert knowledge and innovation in pet nutrition.
Expanding Horizons
1999 marked the launch of our dedicated bakery, ensuring that our pet treats meet many of the same high standards found in human food production. Supreme Petfoods remains committed to setting new standards in pet care, introducing premium treats alongside our core food brands – Science Selective and Selective Naturals, which are veterinary-recommended diets, and the everyday value Tiny Friends Farm range. Today, we offer a comprehensive selection of species-specific pet food, extending our commitment to quality across over 40 countries. In 2024, we expanded our reach further with the introduction of our Tiny Friends Farm Dog Treats to the UK, a range designed to bring the same level of care, nutrition, and joy to British dogs.
