Pancreatitis in Rabbits – Lecture Announced

Press Release

February 2016

Supreme Petfoods is pleased to announce it will be supporting the Exhibitor Lecture Stream at BSAVA Congress again this year, with a talk from internationally recognised rabbit expert Molly Varga, BVetMed DZooMed MRCVS RCVS Recognised Specialist in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine.

In this lecture, entitled ‘Pancreatitis in Rabbits: does it exist, is there a dietary basis, and how should I feed a rabbit with pancreatitis’, Molly will help attendees to understand the pathophysiology of pancreatitis in the rabbit.

During this session, Molly will also explore the nutritional basis of pancreatitis and help attendees to debunk the myths surrounding the disease. Strategies for supporting rabbits with pancreatitis using nutritional means will also be discussed and there will be time for questions and answers at the end.

Molly’s lecture will take place at 13:00-13:45 on Thursday 7th April in the Premier Lounge, Barclaycard Arena. Delegates are invited to bring their sandwiches and ‘lunch and learn’ in this informal yet informative session.
